Monday 10 January 2011 American Landscapes travels to Westmoreland Museum of American Art
American Landscapes: Treasures from the Parrish Art Museum will travel to the Westmoreland Museum of American Art, Greensburg, Pennsylvania on January 30, 2011, showing until April 24, 2011.
This exhibition displays a selection of 19th- and 20th-century American landscape paintings drawn from the permanent collection of the Parrish Art Museum in Southampton, New York. Ranging from majestic views to intimate glimpses, all of these contributed to what we have come to think of as a distinctly American vision.
