Wednesday 23 June 2010 Annie Proulx, Charles Johnson and George Packer guest authors for next 3 Fields of Vision books
D Giles Limited are delighted to announce that three more titles featuring the Library of Congress’ remarkable collection of Farm Security Administration (FSA) and Office of War Information (OWI) photographs will be published in Fall 2011. The series continues with works by Carl Mydans, Gordon Parks and Arthur Rothstein, with an introduction to their work and life by Annie Proulx, Charles Johnson and George Packer respectively.
Providing a unique view of American life during the Great Depression and Second World War, each volume in the Fields of Vision series focuses on a single FSA/OWI photographer whose vision helped shape the collective identity of America and influenced the way we look at photographs in the 21st century.
